Student and parent engagement
Research shows that strong parent teacher relationships impact positively on a childs education.
Class information evening
Class information evenings are held early in Term 1, where parents are invited to meet their child's teacher and learn how the class operates including classroom expectations, homework, routines and procedures.
Learning progress conferences
Families are invited to learning progress conferences mid-way through Terms 1 and 3 to discuss student learning growth and next steps for improvement.
Celebrations of learning
Celebrations of learning are held each term, where students showcase their learning from the term and highlight works they are most proud of, work that challenged them and celebrate their achievements for the term.
Report cards
Report cards are issued to parents on student achievement against the relevant achievement standards for each learning area. A level of achievement is awarded on a five-point scale A to E or equivalent depending on the year level.
Parents may request in writing information about their child's performance relative to that of other students in their cohort.
Students on a highly individualised curriculum are assessed and reported against the learning expectation identified in their Individual Curriculum Plan (ICP)
